"It’s an important question, and one we asked ourselves as well.
"We don’t believe someone should facilitate a women’s retreat simply because they’re experienced. The question is whether they can create a space where women feel deeply safe, seen, respected, and empowered.
"Our role is not to teach women how to be women. Our role is to facilitate transformation.
"Between us we bring decades of experience in trauma-informed psychotherapy, recovery, meditation, spirituality, and sacred medicine. Throughout our careers we’ve worked extensively with women individually, with couples, and in groups. We understand that our responsibility is to create the conditions in which each woman reconnects with her own wisdom—not ours.
"We are also deeply aware that, as men, there are aspects of the feminine experience we have not lived. We don’t pretend otherwise. We approach that reality with humility, curiosity, and respect rather than assuming expertise where we don’t have it.
"Our retreats are never about centering us. They’re about creating a carefully held container where women can explore their own healing, voice, intuition, power, and relationships with themselves and one another.
"If someone feels they would be better served by a retreat led exclusively by women, we genuinely honor that. There are wonderful women facilitators doing extraordinary work. Our retreat simply offers a different kind of container—one rooted in psychological safety, spiritual practice, and profound respect for the feminine.
“Many of the deepest wounds women carry were formed in relationship—with fathers, partners, brothers, husbands, or men in positions of authority. Healing doesn’t always happen in the absence of men. Sometimes it happens through experiencing a radically different way of being with men: one that is emotionally attuned, boundaried, non-exploitative, non-sexualized, and deeply honoring. That isn’t the goal of the retreat, but for some women it becomes an unexpected part of their healing.”
